Gayle, if you think summer is almost over, come visit Az. LOL We still have 2 more months of it here. (maybe longer) We did finally get some rain but think it was too late for some yards and crops. This past week we've had cooler (90's) temps but the humidity has just about wore me down. Not sure it's not as bad as having 110 temps....:o)
Finally went through a few bins from the shed and got a few items listed on ebay today. Have pics taken so can do 8-10 more tomorrow. I need to get back into selling because when it does cool down here I have a lot I want to do outside.

Nancy, I did see that paypal did a refund of fees when I refunded the money but still don't know if ebay does it automatically.
Janice, yes I do know the ebay rules but tried to add a $2.00 handling fee to the invoice but it wouldn't let me do it. Told the buyer they owed $2 more then the invoice showed but they didn't pay it either. It's done and over with now so just need to change the fees when I list next time. The box looked like someone stepped on it (crushed) and it was packed good.

Been really busy this past month so didn't have much time to post. Hope you're all doing well.
I have a problem and maybe someone here can help me. I sold a old pottery vase and there was no insurance on the package. Tried to add it to the invoice but ebay wouldn't let me for some reason. Anyway it arrived broken and I just issued a refund. Need to know how to get my ebay fees back now? It wasn't real expensive but don't want ebay to get more then they should and it was a total lost (23.50) to me anyway.

My back has been giving mwe lots of pain and seems to hurt worst when I sit here trying to type so will have to get off for now. Maybe since company is gone I'll be able to get back here to chat soon.

Well, went to upload all the pics and they all turned out terrible so redid 34. Daug. came over with some stuff to list and told me to keep the money for part of her sis' ticket that I paid for. That was real nice of her but I need to list more tomorrow then. Just got paid for the last auction so all are paid for now. Good feeling!!!
Nancy, daug. loves doing YS but her hubby doesn't so it will be a treat for her. I'm spliting the money with her so she'll have some extra spending money since she'll be here a month. GD can sell lemonaide, pop and water and make some for herself also.....O)
I still haven't finished putting the clothes away so guess I better get at that now.

Not sure I can take all the company we've had the past couple of months but I love to see them come.
Talking about animals getting out..... Well, we've never had one do that until the other night. Dogs were outside and we're in watching TV. Neighbor knocks on the door and has one dog on a leash. She had opened the gate and went out following 2 ladies walking their dogs when neighbor saw her and called her. She loves him so went right over and he put the leash on her and said she looked at him like "are you taking me for a walk". LOL Now we have to lock the gate but she never has done that before. And she's the one that gets really mad when anyone comes near our yard.
Susan, you sound like someone that would like to take all the cats home with you...:o) I'm sure you'll fine another that you can keep if the red one doesn't show up at the shelter.

I found some old maps in the shed last week and listed 3 today. Put a BIN on them for $49.99 and already sold one so that makes me happy..:o)
I've gotton 5 calls today of political recordings. Wish I could stop them somehow. I do have caller ID but if I don't pick the phone up I have to listen to it ring 7 times before the machine picks it up. Gets me POed when I'm trying to rest too.

Shelly, I hope things are going good in your recovery. My Dr. said the same thing last week about the MRI. "Tell me when you're ready" and I said "now". I would hate to think of surgery but hoping maybe some shots and other treatment. Just want to know what it is.

Going for a MRI on the back in a week. Not that I'll let them do any surgery! Maybe some shots. Hubby has been working on a new front door. He can never just put up what we buy. Built a new door frame and trimed it out in oak but he made lines in the wood instead of just plain boards. It's beautiful! I was looking for the house paint but think I'll need to get more since I can't find the right color here. 15 gals of new paint but not just the right color....:o)

Shelly, in Arizona we can carry a gun anywhere and also don't need a concealed permit but not all homes have guns. I think there is a town in Texas were every home has a gun and they're crime is way down because of it. Hope your surgery goes well and I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
Finished with the heart tests but need to go back on the 1st. for results. I'm getting tried of Drs. already. Seems a visit always ends up with 3=4 visits.....:o(
Amber, I've been usinf icey hot but will try the formula 88 when I get back to the store. Also use Osto-Biflex for the joints. Probably wouldn't be able to walk without it anymore. My knees are getting worst every day.
Have cousin coming to visit this next week so hope I can find some time to list. trying to save up enough to send for daug. and g-daug. this summer. Hope they'll be able to stay a month.

Shelly, darling set but I don't think it's wedgewood but the insert is done in the wedgewood style. I think it may be made in Japan. Also the ashtray, small cig. holder and maybe a matching planter. Wonder if a 4" plant would fit into it. Pretty set.
Went to the heart Dr. yesterday and now I have 3 more visits. Friday a study on my legs to see if it's the heart or dibeates causing the numbness. Next week 2 more heart tests. Told hubby I would end up having to go back which doesn't make me happy.
Shelly, when is your surgery? Hope it goes well and you'll be running in no time.

Nancy, are the big white ones for me. LOL I did a simple pineapple upside down cake but none got eatten so brought it back home with us. Had to many desserts and everyone was too full to eat them.
Been busy this am cleaning out my closet. Took out 125+ pieces of clothes and 25+ pairs of shoes. To the YS and what doesn't sell can go somewhere else.....:o) Was trying to work my blood sugar down and it did go down 50 points so I guess that's good. I'm really tired now though.

I see you all talking about babies at a older age. LOL I was born when my Mom was 44 but remember I was the last of 8. Hubby's Dad was 54 when he was born but Mom was 25 yrs. younger. As for me, I had my last at 28 and felt that was older then I wanted to be. LOL Love my g-kids but so nice when they leave for their own house. I'm with Nancy on that one.
Had 2 NPB so filed claims and 1 has paid already...:o) Still haven't received the item back that they're holding my money on. It was mailed on the 11th. and they filed the claim on the 20th, so who knows how long it will be held up.
Bro and S-I-L are leaving in the am so we're all going out to Black Angus for dinner. Guess I better get going here.

Shelly, hubby is doing fine, thanks for asking. I'm sure your surgery will go fine and good thoughts are going your way for a quick recovery. I still haven't got the item returned to me so the money still is being held. Sold on 3-10 and mailed on 3-11. I'm upset because ebay is holding the full amount for both auctions and not just the one . They're collecting interest on my money daily and giving 14 days to return it is a long time since they want us to mail it within 1 day...O( I'm not listing until it's reslolved. Will call them again on Friday if I don't have it settled by then.

Amber, yes, there are great deals on QVC but I shop sales and yard sales so if it's something I want and am not in a hurry I know one day I'll come across what I want. My Dyson was used maybe 3 times (never emptied) and I got it with the box and all the attachments for a mere $15 at a sale. Was the first one to walk through the door and the landlord was selling all the stuff for the back rent. My mistake that day was not saying I would take everything. LOL Spent over $500 at that sale and got some really great things....:o) My dyson fan was bough from a dealer for $20 in the box. I see they have come down in price now at Costco for $198.00. My S-I-L buys a lot on QVC but she doesn't get out much so it works for her.
Need to do some labels so BBIAB.

Amber hubby is doing fine. Still doesn't think he can see as good as he wants but not totally healed yet. He can legally drive without glasses now.
I could never live where the gators run free. LOL I watch swap people and that's as close as I want to get. I understand they can run really fast and I'm a slow poke at this age.
Going to neices for dinner today so I'm making a berry trifle for 1 desert. We'll have 2 other deserts also. Bro and S-I-L are here from Illinois and heading to the Grand canyon tomorrow. Then dinner out on Thursday and Friday they leave. Sure didn't get to see them much this trip...:o(
Amber, I think QVC is a rip off most of the time. I know you can get some good deals but I shop deals so can usually beat their prices. JMO Sorry about you losing the camera. I've thrown things away before too. Once tossed a purse in the trash. Well after the trash was picked up I remembered where my gold chain was........ in the purse I tossed.......O(
