A county auditor had a side business of importing phony Tommy Bahama shirts from China. His girlfriend called in a domestic dispute and the cops wondered what all the shirts and packages were for. The guy even asked one of his coworkers to take delivery since he was limited in what he could import. He sold the shirts at swap meets etc. Now he is in jail.

Her boyfriend disappeared from a fishing boat in San Pedro. I have been on that fishing boat and it would be pretty hard to fall overboard without someone noticing. I think he just got off the boat when it docked and disappeared from there. We had our 30 foot Catalina sailboat in a nearby slip. It was good that he was OK but bad that he caused so much worry.

We even rescued one in Hurricane Alley (San Pedro CA) harbor. He was exhausted from the heavy wind. We tied his board to the back of our boat. He refused to come on board and I was really watching him as he inhaled diesel fumes. We got him as close to the beach as we could and asked a guy on a Kawasaki to watch him.

He gave chase but the guy got away. Later the stolen iPad secretly broadcast its location! The burgler lived close by. The police retrieved his iPad and other belongings and a lot of other stolen stuff. One hundred miles away in Vista, California a young mother got a call that her stolen TV and Christmas presents had been found. $20,000 bail doesn't seem enough for this guy.

course now they know he is mainly Corgi and Chiquaqua.
