While the lid maybe was in use but never was dampened.
You guys have a new one on me. I love the dishes from that era but I never heard it called the aesthetic period.

It could be that the bowl got used while the lid stayed put-away.
I was trying to see if any of the flowers or leaves from the front of the bowl match those on the lid.
