Hi all,
My problem with my eyes is that I still have the big floater in my right eye, but now it stays right in the center of my vision. The cataract on my left eye is gone, and the doctor said that I have 20-40 vision now. However, I have a spot right in the center of my retina that my doctor told me was a hole in my macula, so she sent me to a retina specialist. He calls it a macular pucker. It seems that as we get older, a thin layer of cells settle and grow on the surface of the retina. When the membrane starts to contract it causes the wrinkling or puckering of the retina. I have to watch it and learn live with it. The retina specialist told me he could remove it surgically, but I would have to go to Dallas for the surgery, and it might not fix it, and could cause several problems, even the loss of vision, and if it was him, he would take a wait and see approach. He didn't have to tell me twice. It makes it hard to read when some of the letters aren't there.
Cathy, those pieces of glass are pretty. I hope you have a nice trip.
Shelly, thanks for putting the pictures on for us to see. Also, I don't sell on e-bay, I just buy, mostly Schumann China. I am having to cut back, though. When we put down new floors in the front part of the house, I decided I had enough. It took me weeks to get everything back in order after emptying my 5 china cabinets.
Max, we are supposed to have sunny skies and temps in the 60's and low 70's for the next week. We got enough snow and rain that the ground is moist, but the lakes are still below 21%. I am hoping to get some yard work done. We need to get the beds and garden ready for planting. We bought some more mulch today, and I really had to give myself a good talking to and not buy flowers. They had some very pretty ones. I just plan to divide and move some of the ones I already have.
Goodnight to all, and good morning to Susan.
