Hi,

Shelly, I have diabetes, and that is what the blood sugar is in relation to. Normal is supposed to be 70 - 100. I test several times a day, and try to keep it in line, but it has a mind of its own, and right now it can't decide whether to be high or low. If it goes below 70, it can cause visual disturbances and scrambled brains. If it gets too low, I pass out. It is not much fun coming to and finding fireman, police and ambulance people gathered around my bed. Now I have a pen for Bob to give me a shot to wake me up. I know that the Bible says to give thanks for all things, so I am very grateful that I am still around. 5 years ago, I spent my 72 nd birthday in the hospital recovering from open heart surgery that replaced my aorotic valve.

We had a very nice steak dinner at our favorite restaurant in Wichita Falls, and I am still stuffed.
