Hello to all,

We have had sunshine for the last 2 days. I don't think we have had sun 2 days in a row since late in Dec. The Wichita River is still flooded in several places, due to the lakes that are on it are all running over the spillways. The weather report says we will have sunny days for the next week. Our flooding was bad, but not nearly as bad as south of us in Austin and Houston. Our oldest son lives in Baytown and both he and his wife work in Houston. I spent several days worrying about them, as when Bob tried calling them, he got a message that they were not taking calls at this time. Finally, on Friday, Bob called the police here, and they talked with the Baytown police, and they tracked them down. They were both ok, the phone numbers we had were all old numbers that were tied to previous work. Robert forgot to tell us he had changed phones. He will be 50 this year, and he is still going on 13. I thought he had finally grown up.

I have enjoyed all the pretty pictures that several of you have posted. One of these days I need to learn how to post pictures. I have had some very pretty flowers this year. Right now the lilies and daylilies are blooming. We really need to get caught up on the yard work, but it is so muddy We can't do much.

Well, I need to get to bed. I have an appointment with my cardiologist tomorrow. It is almost 2AM so I must say goodnight.
