Hi,

I had a nice long post, and managed to delete it, so here goes again. We are going to our grand-daughter's high school graduation and will be back on Tuesday, so I thought I had better check in.

Summer has arrived. It was 93 today, and is starting to dry out. No rain now for several days, and none forecast for several more. We had to turn the AC on a few days ago.

Shelly, you asked a few days back if I have a pacemaker. I don't, but Bob does. I had open heart surgery in May of 2000 to replace my aortic valve and 2 bypasses. I am doing quite well considering I also have type 2 diabetes and kidney disease, and had breast cancer in 1990. I try to stay ahead of it all, and always keep my doctor appointments, and take gobs of meds.

Reen, have you ever tried to root plants by burying a lower part of it in a pot of potting soil placed right next to the original plant and keeping it watered good. You don't cut it loose from the original plant until it is well rooted. You should remove the leaves that are under the soil. I hope your open house goes well.

I need to get to bed. I had intended to press our clothes and pack for our trip, but I think I will go to bed, and do it in the morning sine we aren't leaving until 1PM .
