Pottery Chatroom Board

Hello everyone,

This part of Texas had 1&1/2 inches of rain yesterday and according to the weather report, no more is expected. It will be east and south of us....Dallas to Houston and east are getting the most of it. We are back to drought conditions. After all the rain back in May and June, and with all the lakes overflowing and all the flooding here, the drought is back. We have been trying to get our yard and garden back in shape, but the ground is hard as a rock. I am trying to move a flowerbed of daylilies, and it is almost impossible to dig them up. However, when I got started, I found out that the outside wall of our enclosed patio was rotting out at the bottom. Now we have to repair that. I don't think we will ever get caught up on all the work.

I am finally feeling better, but still get tired easily. I am so far behind on everything I may never get caught up. I haven't worked on my genealogy for most of the last year. I am still having trouble with my eyes, and that sure doesn't help. I have an appointment with the eye doctor in Dec, and I tried to get one sooner, but there wasn't an opening. I shouldn't complain about my eyesight though, I can see to get around and do most things, and the worst part is not being able to read.
