Hello all,

Here is an update on my daughter's house. The insurance company has found a house for her to move into that is complete with furnishings, dishes, linens, and all for free while they are figuring out who is paying for what. It should take about a month for the to insurance companies to come to an agreement on who pays and how much. She said she thought she would cut her loses and run with the settlement, and buy herself a small house, either new or in good condition. She is in good spirits, and just wants to start anew. She has been given a lot of things, and money from friends. Everyone has been so generous. She is going through and boxing up things that she wants to try to salvage. She is one strong lady.

Just when I thought that fall was here, today it was 93. Last week, we had a day with 60 degrees for a high, and rainy. We didn't turn the furnace on, but did light our gas fireplace for a while to take the chill off. We have had so much rain, and with the warm temps, some of my spring bulbs are mixed up and trying to grow.

Max, my daughter, Susan has had several shih tzus, and they all have been very good dogs. The only time they have been hard to get along with was when she tried to clip their ears or wash their feet. They just don't want anyone to mess with them.
