Hello from cold, rainy North Texas. We had to get out in it today to go to a doctors appointment, so we also went shopping. I'm not warm yet. Our high was 35 today, and will possibly snow tonight. It was 94 on Saturday, and they are saying it will be back to the 70's by the weekend. It just makes me want to crawl into bed and stay there until spring...
I hope everyone had a nice Valentines Day. I made a pot of chili for supper...not very romantic, but it sure hit the spot. Bob offered to buy me an orchid plant, but I nixed that when I found out they wanted $29 for it. The usual price is 10-12 dollars. Then I found a beautiful miniature rose bush, but it was $15 just because it was in a pretty vase. I passed on that also. They doubled the price because it was Valentines day. About half of the plants I buy usually die anyway, so I am a cheapskate when it comes to buying plants.
