Hi All,

Happy Birthday, Susan. I hope you have a nice one.

I have been able to do a little bit of garden and yard work, but there is still a lot to do. Right now, I am dividing iris and amaryllis bulbs, and have some lilies and glads to plant. I had planned to get them in the ground today, but it rained. We got at least 2 inches today, and it is still raining some. Our rain barrels were full, and I planned to drain them on the new plants after I planted them. They all ran over.

Max, I hope you are feeling better. I will be glad when it is warm enough to get our tomatoes in. I paid $I each for some last week, and I know they won't be as good as the garden fresh ones are. Our weather is supposed to be in the low 70's the rest of this week.

Our daughter is planning to move into her new house after the 1st of March. She wants to paint it inside, and she plans to take up the carpet and put in hard flooring. She has allergies, and 2 big dogs, so she thinks it will be better to get rid of the carpets.

I have managed to do a little bit of genealogy recently. I found an obituary for Bob's great-grandfather, his mother's grandfather, that we had been looking for, for over 40 years. We knew where he died, but could never verify it until now. Now if we could find the great-grandfather Harper it would be great. We only have a name and nothing else. We think he is a figment of someone's imagination. Bob says maybe it means the he, Bob, doesn't exist either. I have run into some very interesting stories.

It is getting close to midnight, so I had better get myself off to bed. Until next time,
