Hi All,

I hope you all had a Happy Easter. I spent the day watering my plants. All our rain tanks were full, and since they were forecasting rain, I thought it best if I drained them. I didn't want them to overflow. But here it is 11:00 PM, and no rain. Maybe we will get some tomorrow. We haven't really had the heavy rain and storms, as the really bad weather has gone around us.

I just realized that it has been a couple of weeks since I was on here, and I hadn't thanked you all for the birthday wishes. I have been very busy getting the garden in, and cleaning the weeds out of the garden and flowerbeds. By the time I work outside for 3 or 4 hours, I am too pooped to do much, but fix supper and go to bed.

My flowers have all been so pretty this year. It has been an early spring and they have all been blooming. Today I had to deadhead some of them, as the blooms had faded. It will be about 6 weeks before we have fresh garden vegies.

We are getting the house painted, and it is sure looking good. Susan, our daughter who is planning to buy the house in a couple of years said to tell the painter that he sure is making "her house" pretty.
