Well, we were hit with wind and wet snow - what a mess. Schools cancelled, highways closed, roads treacherous. Needless to say, I didn't go to help at the thrift store. Shovelled enough snow to bet able to get my feet out the house & unto the driveway - didn't even try to get a path to the road. The snow is heavy so I'll wait for it to either melt down (it's relatively warm out) or somebody to come with a snow blower, however, there's talk we'll get a repetition of this overnight. The farmers do need the moisture.
Know what you mean about printer/computer issues. Sometimes you have to install & reinstall more than once. Unplug or jiggle things around, push buttons, etc. Eventually it works - don't want to replace it yet.
Our hospital auxilliary is holding its' last Book Faire. Nobody wanted to take over as president so we'll be calling it quits.
Hope people in the community realize this will leave a hole in buying extras for the hospital which isn't covered under the system. A sports group might take over but they'll want the funding for themselves - they'll also have to find volunteers to run things as I don't think the auxilliary people want to do that.
Things change when people get older & the younger ones don't volunteer. People work or have other interests or are busy with family.Need to do some downsizing (don't we all). Makes life interesting and I get plenty of exercise going back & forth trying to decide where everything should go. Hope all the potties are doing well - good health, peace & plenty of joy. Marson
