Long weekend here: Victoria Day. Makes no difference to me with all the restrictions - did some weeding (in time spurts) & because of the heat (not a friend of mine) I rest & cool off. Will go back & weed some more. Perhaps in a day or two I may be able to plant some seeds & bulbs. Need my grass cut but so far neither neighbour has come & done it -- may have to ask. Spoke too soon. One of them is cutting it as I type,. Guess he's in need of cigarette money. My dandelions are now laying there with their heads chopped off.
We had a few days of rain which we needed. My daylilies are like weeds.
They're spreading all over and my Peonies need to have last years leaves trimmed & put on the compost heap. The potentilla need pruning & I need to water my two hanging planters on the spruce tree. Good thing that I enjoy gardening. Have a wonderful day. Marson
