Hi all, Susan, we got about an inch of rain last night..We are only about 2 ft. short...Also had a cool front come through, and only got up to 97 today...First time under 100 since back in June....I think I have lost 4 clematis, all of my creeping flocks, and 6 rose bushes, and a lot of my daylillies and regular lillies and amarillis. It is so hot and dry that the hedges ate very yellow... Needless to say, I have stayed indoors, which worked out well last month as I had some minor eyelid surgery, a really bad case of gout, and to top it off, somehow I broke my foot..The doctor said it was a stress fracture, and put a removeable bootie on me. He said I would have to wear it for 6 to 8 weeks. I think I will only have to wear it another week or so, as it is pretty well healed, but I want to be sure it is ok before I remove the bootie.. Think i will get off to bed...Ann
