Now I am off to my 'bed and book.' Guess DH will hang out with the convention folks until they are finished. I'll just wait to red tomorrow's paper.

My 12 yr old DGD would rather be in the barn with or on the back of her BF. She would much rather muck the horse's stall than clean her own bedroom.

katie @fyrqueen - don't feel bad ! My BH is after me to retrieve my Great Gram's bedpans (3) from the attic & try to identify them. Great Gram was partially bedridden & used an very ornate British (I think) porcelain pan that was attached to a chair beside her bed. I remember that bed vividly because I had to help dismantle it after Gramps passed. Hand hewn oak side boards & hand turned head & foot boards with rope supports. Mattress was stuffed with straw & topped with a down-stuffed pad. I wish now that I had that old bed. I believe it came up from W. Va. as a gift from Great Gram's father - my great great grandfather.

Yep @fyrqueen , we got the wind. Nearly blew me off the parking lot trying to get from car to store door at GW. Honestly, hen we were ready to leave I had DGD bring the car up to the door as I was having difficulty standing against that wind.
Thanks @gordon , I shall just leave them at the store for some other person. They were priced low enough and enough of them that I might have bought them but there was only one cup and saucer.

I am in need of a different type of ID this morning. Bought two of these Dept. 56 Snow Baby music boxes. Perhaps knowing the tune being played would help but I can't hear well enough to identify that either.
Eight inches long by 5.25 wide by 6 tall . Bare weight 2.50 lbs.
I riffled through 100 or more at Replacements. Didn't see any that were a large as this one.
We are off to the GW to pick up a couple of nice shelves. Just couldn't resist good shelving at $5 each. The merchandise is pouring into the GW stores here. Guess many people are clearing out to have space for the Christmas gifts. Bad economy----- not for some.
TIA again .
Helen
