Oh Shelly my heart hurts for you. I am so sorry. What a profound loss. Thank goodness he was comfortable and not in pain or anxious. He may have been aware of your presence, just could not respond. They say those who are passing away can still hear, so your voice may have comforted him.
Mike is doing well though with two serious illnesses, we all know how this will end. He goes for walks, reads, plays guitar, talks on the phone and goes to 5 hoyrs of Parkinsons therapy each week.
I did my best to find Susan. Never found an obit so that is hopeful.
