Pottery Chatroom Board

JEANNENL - That was my sweet Penny. A shelter dog stray . Got her in July 1990 and lost her 4-04-05. Sixteen inches tall, about 20 pounds at her prime, very lithe and a soft flexible body and loose muscling.
Best guess is some Cocker ( from her awesome eyelashes), Lhasa ( from her coat and ears) and maybe some poodle ( some of her posturing was poodle like like crossing her front paws). However I saw a red/wheat Tibetan Terrier once and it was very much like Penny so......who knows?
Not sure where she got her smile. Everyone always said she was such a happy dog. She was an ebay bookboard mascot for several years.

Now have Teddy who I call my "God knows dog" Also a shelter stray. You can see his picture on Pottery board as my avatar there.
He is thirteen inches tall and about 20 pounds. Best guess there is definitely parts of Terrier, Poodle and something else??? He has that tight, hard muscled Terrier body, the hunt gene, is natural mouser and also has doggie ADD, at times. He has the bone structure in his face of the poodle, their natural agility and does many tricks.
He is learning to smile too, as he is relaxing more and more, as time goes on.
