@nancyg I was assuming that the ad was a result of the ad being a free listing. A quote from the GB member's post that made me make that assumption---" If you recall, 2 or 3 years ago they tried this business of putting other ads on sellers listings & couldn’t get away with it because of the outcry which even reached national TV. No way was it ethical or even legal for sellers to pay for listings only to find other peoples ads on their item pages. BUT………. if the listings are free, you can’t do anything about it. This is precisely why Ebay started up the free listings: So that they can now LEGALLY make big bucks in advertising revenue off of your listings!"
Apparently it is not on all the free ads. A Glass Board member said it was not on his either. Just something to watch for. In any case I would not be happy with that fluttering ad on one of my listings but not anything one could do about it.
