GORDON - Thank you for the stills. Nice shot of the QA lace and it even shows the little drop of "blood" in the center. I have both QAL and yarrow here so spend time explaining the differences to my trail riders. I try to teach them about the nature things we see as well as riding. So many these days have never had rural experiences.
IRENE M - Saw a Snowy Owl once. Back in the 70's northeastern Wisconsin. It must have been after something as it almost hit my windshield as it swooped up just in time. It was HUGE!
Used to see a pair of Barred Owls regularly( they have dark eyes...way cool), a Great Horned a couple of times and another type once but do not remember what kind. Have seen none for a very long time now, though I did hear one hoot, just a few nights ago.
