• Just stopping in to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Have a wonderful day.

  • @IreneM Hi, I have googled them and looked at some of there marks but I can't find the blue one and the impressed ones have me confused. LOL! I have 4 porcelain marks books and am still dumbfounded over this set. I'll try again going through google instead of yahoo, maybe that will make a difference. Thank you for mentioning that.

I'm off to bed now. Just finished up some of the cooking for tomorrow but there's still lots to do before everyone comes tomorrow afternoon.

    G'night and see you tomorrow.

  • Thanks, I'm going to share it then. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  • @lookwhatbobfound I love the comic you posted. Do you mind if I borrow it?

  • Yahoo it worked! It's been a long time since I've done that. There are 4 different size platters, one of them is 20" long, it's huge. Anyhow, if anyone needs a better picture of something just let me know.

    Thank you again.

  • @Helen in Indy Hi! I'm going to try and post some pictures right now of the different marks plus the pattern. I have no idea on when this was made. I'm trying to date the marks but I need help. The marks of have me extremely confused. The place I purchased the set said it was Nymphenburg but the marks are confusing me. LOL!

I'm going to attempt to post these now. Hope this works.
    blue mark and impressed mark
    gold mark
    blue mark
    penciled in mark
    mark on larger pieces

I hope these worked, it's been a long time. Also, the one mark that says "penciled in" I penciled the impressed mark so I could get a picture of it.

    Thanks for any help!

  • Hello Potties! I'm hoping someone can help me with some porcelain. I have a set of, what I was told, is Nymphenburg china. I have researched all of my books with the marks on the backs of different pieces of the set. Of course there are different marks on some pieces to make it even harder for me since I'm not real familiar with porcelain. Anyhow, I found the Nymphenburg mark that is incised but there is another mark that is in blue that I can not find anywhere. Could someone point me in the right direction. Also, I can not find the pattern of this china anywhere. From what I've heard this place has been around since 1765 so there could be a lot of different patterns but hopefully I can find the one. I know pictures should be posted and I will do so yet tonight, however, if there is somewhere I can search that anyone knows of it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Tracy
