Wishing a long, long time for Nice, Hugo and you and all together.....

I am doing tons of studies on vitamins as well....They say those that come from only whole foods are good...My question was always ...how do they get all that nutrition in one tiny pill? Is it just me that wonders that? lol

Most vitamins have fillers, sugar...synthetic processing...not good, but all natural ....whole food vitamins I feel are okay...That remains to be seen....as I am experimenting on myself....

GORDON: Glad I could impart information that helped Brandy....and just made sense to me...I so hope that it will help Nice....You have a good head on your shoulders....You will know what is best....

GORDON: I wouldn't even talk to the vet yet...Proof is in the pudding...Watch how Nice does with one pill or even no pills.....carefully as I know you will.....That's your barometer....For me, it would be anyway!

I would also google 'side effects ' of the meds he is taking...Good luck, Gordon.

GORDON: I didn't want to add this to the mix but seeing that you stated what you did, I feel better about mentioning that brandy did not do well on meds, so I decided to stop them..... ...exercised her if she would do so..... ....and gave her nothing but the healthiest food as I believe that our bodies are always trying to heal.....given support from nature....I massaged her little body dailey...(she loved it) . But , GORDON, you need to do what YOU FEEL is best.... What I did worked for Brandy and if she's eating and exercising....a very very good sign....

GORDON: No...I decided not to give her meds.....Just kept her exercising....Gave her even more love..as I am sure you are doing...Fed her the very very best..and healthiest food...Broccoli , carrots....cottage cheese. - mashed up baby food at times........organic when I could afford it....Massaged her little body......and took her everywhere with me....I even kept my job appointments to a minimum..as she was everything to me....or took her when they agreed that I could....After losing my daughter...brandy was my world..
Made sure the last six years that the food I gave her had no preservatives............But that's just me....

Forgot to mention, Gordon, that she lived six years with Cushings….and did very well…

GORDON: My heart goes out to you….Guess that would be a question for the vet….My Brandy had Cushings, Gordon…She lost almost all of her hair like Nice…She lived to be sixteen years…Wish they would last as long as humans ….But , perhaps, she will rally…She has so much love from you , and if she still walks..that’s a good sign…You will know, Gordon…. …and the vet…..My thoughts are with you.

GODON: Like humans , sometimes we have bad days and good days..and if he is still enjoying himself…that is your best barometer..I feel! ONLY YOU KNOW – We aren’t there and not as close to him!

GORDON: So sorry that Nice went through a bad time .

Just my humble two cents but it's what I feel so going to share.

GORDON..You are closer to NICE than anyone and I FEEL 'ONLY YOU' know the right thing to do..and as sensitive as you are to their needs and joy, pleasure and pain, I know you will KNOW to do the right thing....Actions speak louder than words..and Nice will show you .....My Brandy kept hiding when she wanted to go...The vet told me that is a sign that they want to go toward the end...They keep hiding.

HUGS for you, GORDON and NICE, and listen to your own 'knowingness and heart'..as in this case, I feel you know best....!! we don't....The very best to you ...and Nice!

GORDON: I agree.....We were at this hoitey , toitey snobbish (you know the type) affair (posting a yuck here...lol) ....and they had basically something akin to what you showed today, and it totally changed their demeanor...from seemingly unhappy sordid types in this case to 'happy go lucky' people. They said the same thing about my friend's pup....Gave him one year..He lasted five...Glad the worst is over..!

GORDON: Thanks for the update! Yes, I have seen Hugo drink out of puddles. That's funny, but really 'not' when it involves, perhaps, contracting something! I was always of the opinion until about ten years ago that our furry friends, for the most part, know what to stay away from! Wrong!

GORDON: you and your pup have 'the video friends' that watch your neat videos routing for all of you! We keep counting the hours when you can take him...It is now 1:13, thereabouts, so we figure , it is close to three, so in a few hours (thank goodness, you can take your sweet Nice to the vet).....We have all been counting...So sorry!

Forgot to add..I didn’t know this person very well, but from seeing this person post for three months, I found stated to be very charming and pleasant and one that certainly isn’t a follower. JMHO

Gordon: Up with this nasty cold and just read the sad news of Nice….I am so very sorry, Gordon. Didn’t want to say this until it necessary and it still may not be, as he might just be having a bad spell…(the vet will tell you, as you stated), but now I can say that my sweet Brandy who I had for eighteen years had Cushing’s disease….She lived four years with it…lost her hair..and toward the end ..well, she had a seizure ..came out of it but was panting uncontrollably…and trying to hide constantly!! …..I took her in the next day and the vet said…it’s time. Next to Melodie and Tommy…hardest thing I had to do…

Prayers for all of you, Gordon…So very sorry…

As an added note…yes, it’s sad that that there is no longer an active Pottery board…Can have some very disturbed ascerbic folks on board I also felt sorry for that successful fella on the book board. No matter how different one is, what I had witnessed made me cringe! But it made me feel good to witness some of those on the Old Book board display tons of grace and restraint through it all.and I am sure , as many have stated, that it is those folks that are responsible for allowing the Book Board to remain standing. That takes discipline , class and sanity

Howdy Gordon: Took me two days to navigate my faulty computer to this site....It is on it's last legs and don't intend to buy another one. The glare of computers seems to bother my eyes a lot...strange.... and my eyes are more important than the problem I am having......Hence, I am sure your videos will be enjoyed by all here. Just didn't want you to go out of your way to create them ..and feel pressure since I stated that we will watch them.....I sent them by email , so now they are concentrating on other countries.... ..thanks so very much...Just didn't want you to feel obligated....I am endeavoring to sell my paintings ..something I should have done ages ago....and will rest my eyes without glare...Best to you.. They were absolutely wonderful, but as with everything in life...,tastes change and things happen. I joined a cake decorating site online…..Watched them make a giant Bunny and Duck cookie carrying a cart and then they used gum paste and fondant to decorate……now to save money to buy all the necessities to do it instead of clothes that I don’t need. Australia and New Zealand ....legalized growing of hemp plants when , GORDON? ...I remember reading that....a few years back....Wondering what other places they are legal as such...

GORDON: Interesting article and paradox about the veggie root..(beet)...I know when a kid, mom used to serve them from the can...yuck....or pickle them...Hate vinegar..double yuck....But now , as of late, the health craze is booming....some are trying beets roasted or baked.... Whole world of difference to me anyway.....Sometimes just roast them...and serve with orange marmalade and butter or raspberry jam..or just plain with butter...Very sweet this way....Sometimes folks would use the pickled beet juice..with vinegar in it and put hard boiled eggs in it...The eggs would become a pretty color , of course, and had a sharp beety vinegar taste. Strangely, I kinda' liked those. Anything else you'd like me to bore you with.??

I am still wondering if I was 'hacked'...as HOW does one send me data making believe it is me....In other words they send me an email 'using my email address'...GORDON, You had this happen as well, right?..Did you change your password...I over looked it, but someone told me about a week , more or less ago, that that indicates someone hacked into my account...Wondering how they can send an email to me using My addy?

Well...heard from the little boy and his mom and little kitten doing very well...They even bought a bed for the kitty....A bed in the shape of a mouse...lol

Katie...isn't it fun to go to the Farmer's Market....My friend Heather and I used to go on Thursdays...and bring home wonderful veggies..and, also, things I shouldn't like giant loaves of fresh baked (all kinds of bread) and fresh baked pies but it was Organic....Very expensive but once in a while ..ok....Well, sitting here being good eating carrots....after I ate a hot dog with tons of nitrates duh..well, trying to be good anyway....

RE: SPAMMERS AND MEAN PEOPLE......I have people using MY EMAIL ADDRESS and sending emails out using my email address making believe it is me! Really not funny!....Good way to make sure they are from the crazy person or from the authentic email owner is to check the ISP...as the phoney one will be different ...Just inquired about that when I reported it.......I have learned now never to click on anything and to watch very carefully...There are crazy people out there...and ill intended...NEVER click on ANYTHING is my rule...

GORDON: Enjoyed your video..Just looked at it...Wonderful about the Terrel family donating with no agenda. Rare!...Loved the scenery, etc. Very enteraining video..Gordon, An idea. Folks like me who won't fly would purchase videos like yours to see what other places are like, etc...You are a great narrator and really know how to hold interest as you are also very detail oriented which lots of people like....I think you could sell your videos to folks who either cannot fly or whatever....Won't hurt to try...Not everyone has the ability to hold interest like you do...Might be worth a try!..
