• Good morning everyone. Been a while since I've stopped in, but wanted to say hello to all my old potty friends. Hope life is going well for each and every one of you. Headed to work now. Later, Dan.

• Shelly. I hate to put it so bluntly, but you asked. Work sucks! 88 days till I could walk out! But something else will have to be lined up. I'm still too young to retire, and I just bought that new vehicle! See ya' later. Dan

• Amber. Thanks so much for fixing the picture of Dallas. It posted fine in e-mails, but I couldn't get it to stay highlighted after it was posted here. I'll remeber the "No IMG". Glad you all liked it. Now I need to post one of Devin if you think Dallas has grown. By the way. His Dr. told DD to make him slow down on eating! Have a great day. Dan

• Sorry. I can't get it to post.

• Afternoon all. GS Dallas had his first ballgame today. They don't keep score in this first year, but the kid's had a blast! I think his team may have scored more runs than the other team did. Dan

• Gayle and Katie. How are you girls doing? Boy's are fine. Dallas is playing baseball. Well, T-ball. He's only 5 years old! They had a bug cage last fall that they put a caterpillar in, and the butterfly came out of it's cacoon today. They were so excited to watch it fly off. I thought it was a good learning experience for them. I'll stop in from time to time. Dan

• Good morning pottery friends. It's been a long time since I've been in here. Just thought I should jump on while I had a minute and say everything here is about the same. Hope your all doing well. Have a great day. Dan

• Susan. Shelly is all wound up over what happened to Jeffy last Saturday night! She is back in heaven, and Nascar is alive and well in her world now! I'm getting where I just watch the races. Not so hyped up about any one driver this year. Dan

Helen, and Katie. These 2 boys are a handfull. I wouldn't want it any other way than having them here though! They've been cooped up inside for too long! Spring is just around the corner, so I may not be so used up by bedtime soon. Some nights, I'd like to just go check into a cheap hotel for some peace and quiet. Have a good one. Dan

• I'd like to get on and say hi to everyone, but I don't have a dog in this fight! It doesn't look like a good place to be tonight. I thought all that was over? Hello to everyone, and you know who you are. Dan

• Shelly. We just love the new SUV. So far Shelly has turned down all offers to drive it! She likes it, but I think she's still scared that she may be the first one to hurt it! The kid's like it because we can all go places together now. Lot's more room than an extended cab pick-up. I'm still just hoping they didn't put an invisible target on this one. LOL

Bob. Be careful. She may give you a heart attack! LOL Dan

• Good morning everyone. Just sitting here wondering what the day will bring. No plans yet, so we're just rolling with the flow! Hope you all have a great day. Dan

Susan. Shelly has been watching the calender since the end of the race at Homestead last fall! She's what I call the Nascar professor. Anytime someone asked me a question I can't answer, I call her. She watches every race show between races, and can almost always tell you some obscure fact that only a true race nut could! LOL I saw they had a rough start to practice yesterday. 5 car crash. And Jimmie Johnson's team has been caught trying to push the envelope already. Happy days are here again. Dan

• Hello all. It's been a while since I've been over here. Been down with allergies all week! Just now starting to feel better. I'm ready for Spring! Hope your all finding lots of goodies. I haven't even been out looking. Nicer weather will get me motivated. Dan

Katie. Gordon contacted me and said you had asked about me. Everything as normal as can be here. GS's growing like weeds! Dallas started Karate lessons a couple weeks ago. Don't know if he'll stick with it or not. he seems more interested in football and wrestling. Hope your doing well. Dan

• Susan. I think we may be going down to Super Bowl Village in Indy tomorrow. Need me to pick you up a t-shirt or anything? Heck, it's only 40 miles from home, and I may never see another Super Bowl played in Indy as long as I'm alive! Dan

• Susan. My wife is starting to have withdrawal symptoms from Nascar. I'll be glad to see it get started too. Just a few more weeks. Dan

• Mim. I just live right up the highway from you. I'm in Anderson. Looks like Indy will be in the spotlight for the next couple of weeks with the Super Bowl. I may bring the family down to some of the activities. The Zipline looks fun! I hadn't heard about the tornadoes. Just strong storms. Must have changed after I went to bed. Glad to see Eli Manning is coming to town to play in front of Peyton this time around. The 2 teams I was rooting for made the big game! Dan

• Char. The only good thing about getting older means less time till I can quit my job. I imagine I'll have to find something to get up in the morning for, but I hope it's something I enjoy. Doing what I do now isn't enjoyable anymore. Just an income! I'd rerally like to do something in the line of an antique and collectibles store of some kind. Just hate all that hassle with government paperwork. That's the only reason I don't have that going on the side right now. Dan

Marty. Congrats on beating that heart attack. I lost my dad when he was 44 years old! There was a policeman doing CPR on him within seconds of it, but it was still too late. He smoked about 3 packs of cigarettes a day, was an alchoholic the first 13 years of my life, and worked a stressfull job as a railroad engineer! Not much excercise with that job. I'd bet that would give you a whole new outlook on life to get a second chance. Dan

• Hi Char. And Nacy. Before I started running I was overweight, and not in good condition in my early to mid 20's. And I had some bad habits which I can say I don't have any of except the appetite! I took Rythmol back them for the atrial fib. The running got me to where I have never had to take any meds for my heart. It amazes me that all my blood work came back clean this last fall. With my weight, I'm surprised I don't have cholesterol problems, but I never have. My biggest problem now is arthritis. I've got it in all my major joints. The back is my weakest point. My GP recommends water aerobics, and I agree that it would make me feel better to get my heart pumping faster again. Getting old ain't no fun! Dan

• Nancy. Back in the late 80's, I had atrial fibrilation. I could take off for a 9 mile run, and about 1/2 mile into it my rythem went back to normal. At that time I did a treadmill stress test. Being a long distance runner at the time I passed with flying colors. The Dr. turned off the machine before I would quit. About 10 years ago I had chest pains during physical therapy on my shoulder. I was rushed to the hospital. They thought I was having a heart attack. At that time they did the chemical stress test on me. The medicine they used for the first part of the test caused me to become very sick to my stomach, and I began to vomit. They went ahead with the test with the radioactive stuff. When the test results came back 4 days before Christmas the Dr. told me I had 3 blocked ateries on the left side of my heart! He didn't even have the compassion to call me into the office. Just a phone call. I worried till Dec. 30th when I went to Indy for a catherization. After going through that the Dr. who did it came in the room and said he had no idea what the Dr. here in town saw, but there was no blockage anywhere, and I was healthy as could be. I called the town Dr. on the following Monday and told him if I saw any kind of bill from him I'd file a law suit. I never heard from him again! And my heart is still ticking away. Turns out I was having spasms in my esophagus!(Sp.?) Dan

Irene. Good luck to you. Hope your results come back favorable. Dan

• Gordon. Almost forgot. Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great one. Dpoing anything special? Hope to get back on this evening. Dan

• Good morning potties. Cold and snowy day here today. Hot fresh coffee if you need some. Here's my new ride. Finally decided to get rid of that gas hog pick up truck. This Equinox gets almost twice the mileage that the truck did! Have a great day. Dan
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/687/equinox11812005.jpg/

• Morning everyone. Coffees on so help yourself. What a different a day makes. Yesterday while I was typing my morning post, we had a severe thunderstorm coming through. It rained harder than I ever remember seeing it rain. Then came thunder and lightning. That's when I shut off the computer and headed to work. It quit raining well before noon, but it was overwhelming the plant. By 3:00 it had dropped from the morning high of 55 down to 37 degrees! Before we left the Chevrolet dealership it was snowing with winds probably about 30 miles an hour! We ended up buying the Equinox, and got out of there about 6:30. I go pick it up today after work. We're very happy to have it. Now I just hope I don't end up in the poor house. They aren't cheap with a few extra bells and whistles! I'll post a picture of it by Thursday or Friday for you all. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Dan

• Good morning all. Nice to see Plume posting again. Working today. We had to trade getting our birthday off to take MLK Day off. But a holiday is a holiday. All pays the same. Goint to drive that new Equinox tonight, and see what I can get out of my truck with the target on it! Mileage was down to 11.8 mpg at last fill-up. I can't afford to keep it. The Equinox is rated at 22 city, and 32 hwy. Sounds much better to me. Everyone have a great day. Dan

• Coffee anyone? It's hot and ready. Sorry I don't have anything to go with it. I stop to get that on my way to work. I have a question for you all. Have you ever heard of Ebay making a buyer send a purchase back to a seller and issue a full refund? I bought a gram of gold from someone I've never bought from before. It was mostly very small flour gold. It was so fine that some of it floated on the surface tension of the water. I e-mailed him asking about it, because what was advertised isn't what I got. Now he say's he is going to file a case with Ebay and make me send his gold back! I've already mixed it with 7 other grams in a glass vial, so it would be impossible to tell what was his gold unless I could get it to float again. I've had cases in the 13 years I've been on Ebay that I wish I could have bought back what I sold. But as far as I know it can't be done. Thanks in advance for your input. Snow is supposed to get here around 10:00 a.m., and last through Friday morning. Accumulations keep changing, but I'm betting on the 2-4" range. Have a great day. Dan

• Gordon. I live in central Indiana. It can get a lot colder than what it was yesterday morning. It can get below zero in the middle of the winter. Dan

• Morning folks. Running short on time, but haden't been on lately, so thought I'd better say hi on my way out the door. 14 degrees here, so double layers of clothes to put on. Only getting up to 24 all day! Hope to see ya' later. Dan

• Good morning all. Hot coffee, and free for the taking. Sorry no time to chat, but it's snowing, and I have windows to clean and a truck towarm up. Have a great day. Dan

Katie. Beautiful table and mirror. Wife would kill for that! Dan

• Gordon. The way some people over here drive, you can get hit from at any direction at any given time! LOL My truck is a perfect example of that. How long did the beetle "fandango" last? Dan

• Gordon. Maybe the beetles were giving each other their Christmas presents! LOL That seem's weird watching you drive on the opposite side of the road than we do in the states. Some very beautiful country for driving though. Dan

Thanks again Liz.

• Gordon. I forgot today is Christmas day down there. So Merry Christmas from the whole family here. Dan

• Liz. Thank you for contacting Curt for me. I used the I.D. he mentioned, but it wasn't the one I had been logged in on for about the last month. Glad to be back. Hope your all ready for tomorrow. I am. I'm usually out on Christmas Eve doing last minute shopping, but I've been done since Thursday! Happy Holidays, and safe travels to one and all. Dan and family.

• Gordon. I'm not sure if you were on the boards when I went to visit my mom this last spring. I went to see my cousin who lives in a group home for mentally ill people. The last time I went to see him he remembered me. This last time he didn't have a clue who I was. But we did go in town for lunch. He really enjoyed just being able to go for the ride and let the wind blow in his face. It's very hard to talk to someone who doesn't know who you are. We had such a lot of fun when we were kids. He was at a party back in the mid 1970's, and someone slipped horse tranquilizer in his drink. He's never been the same again. And he's getting worse with age. He doesn't even know his mom. I promised him I'd be back next June.

• Gordon. Just have a minute or so left, but wanted to tell you the video of your Mum was wonderful to watch. And I agree that at times she seemed to understand what was going on. She is a lovely lady, and the view from her window is great! Safe traveling, and I'll talk to you soon. Dan

• Thank you Amber. And have a safe trip today. I over slept, and I'm playing catch-up now. Gotta run. Have a great day everyone. Dan

• Liz. So sorry to hear about your tree. What kind of low life steals a tree out of someone's yard? We have a Colorado Blue Spruce my wife's aunt bought us in 1988 when Shelly's dad died. We used to go all out on decorating it. Now it's too tall to do anything with. Over 25 feet tall! I've thought about donating it to the county some year to be used as the Christmas tree that is displayed on the courthouse property. They find a new one each year. Dan

• Susan. I had no idea the Colts won! Never was much of a fan. I prefer Pittsburgh like my son. I am glad they won't go into the off season with a no win season behind them. Good luck to your Saints. I can remember when fans down there were going to games wearing paper bags over their heads! Dan

Coffees on. So if your waiting for yours to brew, have a cup on me. About time for me to get moving. Have a great day. Dan

• Good morning everyone. Coffees hot and fresh, so help yourself to a cup. After lot's of thinking this weekend, I've decided to approach my boss about having a "Come Together" party sometime this sumer. Nothing too big. Just grill some hotdogs, amd burgers, and have everyone bring pop or chips. Children and wives included. That would give us all a chance to get together to talk, and hopefully help get our employees all headed in the right direction. Of course that could just fizzle in my face, and could turn into a riot! But none the less, I'll have tried. I know your all probably sleeping in as I would be if it were not my Monday! Hope you all have a great day. And don't forget. Christmas is only 7 days away! Ho-Ho-Ho! Dan

• Maureen. Forgot to tell you. She did give me the originel e-mail back, and all is well. Thank you. Dan

• Maureen. I am a Union employee, and anything like that is purged from our files 1 year after the date of the offense. I've been active in our union for my share of the time, but now the younger guy's are doing the job. I pay my dues, and attend meetings, but that is it. I made a mistake posting something like that on a public forum not even thinking anyone would be low life enough to put my entire future in jeoprody. But I truly believe through some help, we found out who the culprit was. I'm considering it all water under the bridge now. I always try to be a stand-up guy, and don't bother anyone. It's really sad to know there are people out there who would try to ruin a mans life for speaking his opinion. I never dreamed someone on the old chat board would do something like that to me, but there were a few dirty dogs on there. This board seems to be a lot better, but I'm not going to let my guard down!

And thanks to everyone else who helped. I'm considering it a closed matter as of now. Dan

• Wellie. I thought I had a fredom of speech, but in our work rules, talking about bosses break work rules, and can be a fireable offense if you mention a name. I mentioned Superintendant, and there is only one of them where I work. It was her decision not to pursue the matter, but it caught me off guard when I was meeting with her about more important issues, and the e-mail was brought up. But in the end all is well, and I learned an important lesson. Sorry I had to leave sudenly, but it's the wife's birthday. I appreciate all the help getting to the bottom of this. I'm just wondering what would happen if I e-mailed the address on the original e-mail? Better not! It's my bedtime. 5:00 a.m. comes early. See ya' in the morning everyone

• Everyone else. Gordon was right. They had the report since it was reported, and she decided not to take any action on it. But in our meeting yesterday she told me she got an e-mail from City Hall that I was bad mouthing her. We did end up shaking hands today and agreed to let bygones be bygones. She was really very nice about it, and I did apoligize for the comment. Dan

• Gordon. Your right. It didn't have to be someone local. Curt e-mailed me and told me how to delete all my posts. Funny thing was after I deleted all my recent post, and all posts that had anything to do with my job, there was not one dated Sept.16th! Most of the posts were within the last month or so, but I deleted all of those. Thanks, and drive safe. Dan

• Nancy. They have had the e-mail since Sept. 17th. It was just brought to me today. Dan

Bob. I don't have any messages. Did you mean Ebay messages, or my e-mail address? Dan

• char. I'll still post. I just can't talk about my job. I've got to many of you I like to stop posting. I need to get back to Sept.16th and check all the posts on that day. If you'd like to help me look up peole who posted on that date, e-mail me on Ebay, and I'll give you the e-mail address. Maybe you'll recognize it. I started looking back to that day, but I looked for 10 minutes, and only got back to Nov.14. There are a lot of posts on here! LOL Thanks. Dan

• Does anyone know if the webmaster could remove all my posts that have ever been put on this board? I sure can't afford to get fired. There is no such thing as freedom of speech if your a public employee and say something negative about your job! Who'd have guessed that what I said on this board could have been seen by someone local, and know it was me? Dan

• Afternoon everyone. Seems I jumped to conclusions about the e-mail to my boss. We have a spy lurking on this board with access to city officials! Someone on this board forwarded one of my posts to the head of the Public Board of Works! I don't think it was a regular, but what are the chances that someone who knows public officials in this town read my post here? It was a post from Sept. 16. I'll no longer be able to talk about my job on here. I could lose my job over this! All I have is the e-mail address of the person who reported my post. BBL Dan

• Gordon. Good going with that little critter. Hopefully since you saved it from the crows, he might just make it! Dan

• Good morning all. Coffees on, and I need it. After a bad weekend with plumbing problems, I haven't felt like getting on here. 18 this morning, and only getting into the 20's for highs. Got the heavy coat out! I haven't scrolled yet, so if anyone has been wondering about me, I'm still here! You all have a great day, and I'l try to do the same. Hi-ho Hi-ho, it's off to work I go! After I warm the truck and scrape windows. Dan

• Good morning all. Coffees on. Never got around to getting on the computer yesterday! Happy belated birthday to you Bob. Only 26 outside today, with a high of 38. It's definately soup weather. Don't know if we'll have chili, or spaghetti for dinner tonight. That's up to the cook! Hope you all have a great day. And am glad tomorrow is my Friday. I hate wishing my time away, but that place makes me want to. Dan

• Shelly. You know our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dan

• Morning all. Coffees on. It's been raining for 24 hours. And no sign of stopping till later today. Then tomorrow it's supposed to turn cold! Snow maybe. Have a great day. Dan

• Good morning all. Starting out warm, 50 degrees, and very windy this morning. Just ahead of the rain we have coming for the next 2 days! Should make for an interesting start to my work week. Have a great day. Dan

• Marty. I know how you feel. I've had my truck for 2 years now, and have had it wrecked 3 times. I swear there is a target on it that is visible to everyone but me! Sounds to me like she talked to her insurance company between the time she offered to pay, and actually did it. Too bad a police report wasn't made. Good luck. Dan

• Good morning everyone. Just getting around to posting. I slept in for a while till Dallas woke me up looking for Nana, who was already headed to work! Gotta go get my truck looked at today to see why my gas mileage is so lousy. The truck has a straight 5 cylinder in it, and I'm down to 12.5 mpg! I know people with 6 and 8 cylinder trucks that are getting better, or close to, the same mileage I am. Also going to see a friend of mine who buys silver and gold. I have a bunch of silver coins and sterling silver to sell. Then maybe a night out with Shelly later! It's her week to buy dinner. LOL Dan

• Gordon. I remember when you were going through all the problems with the government over the estate. We lost my wifes grandmother to Alzheimers, or demntia. It was a terrible time. She was in extended care in the hospital when she passed though. It's not fair to have to watch someone you love so much, have to go through that. And it hurts everyone involved. I'm rooting for you. Your a very smart man, and I know you'll come out on top! Dan

• Gordon. It's definately something that would have worked better for me back in the 1970's! Not sure I could make it now. Dan

• Gayle. I don't know why the kids ppicture is so fuzzy. Daughter took it, and I did all I could do to get it looking better. Their getting big! Dan
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/560/xmastree2011006.jpg/

• Good evening everybody. It was 26 with a heavy frost here this morning. Had to scrape windows even after I had the truck running for a little while. Winters starting here! One great sounding sale here today, but I had to go to a seminar for work in Zionsville. About an hour away. Listing said, "Car's, '68 Chevy truck, bottles, old trunks, signs, antiques, lot's of unique items, & much more." Sounded great. That was in the back of my mind all day! Dan

Gordon. Now I understand just sealing the juices inside the chicken. It got cooked the rest of the way through with the steaming during the 30 minute cooking time. I've got to say. Your adapting well to your nomadic lifestyle. If you like it, I'm happy for you. If I was single I might try it after I was done with work. No punching a time clock. Sleep when I want to sleep. Travel when you feel like driving. I think a relationship is what I would miss. After being with Shelly 30 years, it would be hard without her. Good luck with the future videos. I'm watching. Dan

• Gordon. Great job! Considering the working conditions, it looked like a great meal. As Amber said though, I also like my chicken just a little browner. But overall, I think it was a success. Dan

• Thanks to everyone on your comments about me raising GS's. But I have to say Shelly does way more than I do. And daughter is here as well. But it is nice knowing were all warm and fed at night. Last year at this time things weren't so happy around here. Daughter in jail, and going through all the hassle of getting Social Security set up in my name for the boys, sitting in front of judges, etc. (Amber may not have known the boy's rat of a father comitted suicide!) Now that's all behind us. And hopefully by next Christmas they will have a place of their own! Dan

• Good morning everyone. Coffees on! Windows are frosted up on the truck, so I'll have to get off here early to warm it up and scrape windows this morning. Class in Zionsville today for work. At least it's something different than sitting in my office all day! Hope you all have a nice day. It's 26 here in central Indiana right now. BRRR! Dan

Gordon. Are you the next galloping gourmet? Sounds fun. I'm going to watch some of the video now. If it's too long, I may have to finish this evening. Don't have a lot of tme this morning. Dan

• Shelly. Thank you for asking. We put the tree up last night, and the boys have been excited since before Thanksgiving. Of course they want everything they see on TV. But we've about got it narrowed down to what they really want. It's still kind of nice at times having my whole family together for the holidays! Just tight on living space. Dan

• Gordon. Now that is a flock of birds! Our Cooper's hawk that visits our backyard in the winter to feed on sparrows would love them. Dan

Amber. I do take boxes of things to auction. Less hassle and less commision than Ebay. And the best part is no packing! The ashtray has that Murano look to it. Was going to list it last night, but will have to wait till this evening. Dan

• Good morning. Coffees on! We got our first real snow yesterday, and into last night. We were supposed to wake up to 2-3" of it this morning. It started about 2:00 yesterday afternoon, and snowed hard all evening. This morning it's all gone! That is fine with me though. High is only going to be about 38 today. Have a great day everyone. Dan

Amber. Thanks for the coffee and scones! Dan

• Good morning everyone. Coffees on. Weatherman calling for some snow the next couple of days! So far their saying 1-2" of accumulating snow, but could get more depending on what the storm does. It won't stick around long though due to high enough temps to melt it. Dan

• Good morning potties. Coffees on, so grab a cup and have a seat. Another work day here, and still chances of rain. Cold front coming in to turn it into snow showers tomorrow! Dan

• Well, it's time to start getting into work mode. Everyone have a great day. Rain here all day. Looks light though. Dan

• Amber. I'm thinking about it. I'm going to start getting rid of some stuff, and invest in gold! Not a lot of listings on Ebay, but selling through a local auction house. Dan

• Amber. I'm still here. I leave in about 15 minutes. Just trying to get a post on both boards this morning. Dan

Hi Shelly. I don't know if this piece is that old or not. I bought it at a sale, and had lost track of it. Wife found it in my son's room. He was using it for what it is. An ashtray! I gave him a less expensive one! LOL Dan

• Good morning Amber. Join me for a cup of coffee. Today is my Monday, so I'm getting ready for work! That ashtray is in the form of Murano, but not from the island. And the color is amberina. It looks red mostly, but when held in a certain way in light, there is an orange/yellow color there too. I've seen a lot of Fenton glass in that color. Dan

• Amber. Thank you. I don't think this is Murano Glass! It's a nice piece though. Nice color and shape. Dan

• Thanks Bill and Amber. I forgot to open the e-mail to activate my account. Got on now! Thanks again. Dan

• Bill. I just tried hitting the home key both before, and after I logged in. Still can't get a message box.

• P.S. I wanted to post that ashtray on the Glass board.

• I registered on the glass board, but when I logged on, it didn't open a box for a message! Any suggestions? Dan

• Katie, Gordon, and Shelly. Thanks for the suggestions on the ashtray. It weighs about 4 pounds, and has the ring of crystal. No markings though. A beautiful sunny day, with a high of 62 degrees! Hope you have a great one. Dan

If I wanted to post on the glass board, do I need to register on it also? Thanks, Dan

• Hi Katie. Seems like it's been forever since I could log on here! Dan

Anybody have any ideas on this piece of amberina glass. It's an ashtray. 7" tall by about 12" wide at the widest point. Dan

• Hello Gordon. I've been watching your daily adventures when I've had time to get online! Hope you get the worm problem taken care of. Dan

Char. I checked that box too. And wrote user name and password I.D. in an address book I keep. It's on paper, so I can't lose the information. See ya'll in the morning. Dan

• Hello everyone. Not sure what I did to get a box to write a message in, but it's been an ongoing problem for almost a month. Thanksgiving was a good one here, and hope you all had a good one too. BBL Dan

• Good morning all. Coffees on. I'm not looking forward to going into that place today. Starting up this new plant has been a nightmare. And lucky me gets to deal with the first rain event today. It makes me about half sick to my stomach to even get there! My DB from Houston is here by himself for a visit. I'm spending a day with him tomorrow. He's the one with Parkinsons disease. He's not doing very well. I'm hoping he's not here to be preparing for what the future holds. Dr.s can't get him under control after doing that brain surgery on him. I'll enjoy getting to spend the day together with him. You all have a great day too. Dan

• Good morning. Not any extra time to scroll, but wanted to stop in and say hello, and the coffees on. Back on 16 hour days! It's supposed to rain tomorrow though, so I'll get a short break! Hope everyone is doing well. Has anyone heard from Irene. She used to be one of the first one's to post in the mornings. I couldn't find the Original Pottery Board this morning. Have a great day. Dan

• Good morning everyone. Coffees on. No time to chat this morning. I have to get the windows scraped, and warm the truck. It got down to 31 degrees here in Indiana last night! Heavy frost on everything. Have a great day. Dan

• Gordon. Put me on July 21st. How's the traveling life going? Dan

Susan, and any others who don't like the Colts football team, here's a link for you. Dan

• Beth. Looking over that birthday list brought back a lot of memories from the early days! Wonder where some of them are now? Dan

• Afternoon to all. You folks give me too much credit when it comes to the GS.s. Shelly does the better part of the parenting along with DD. She is a much better mother now that she's off the drugs, and away from the bad influences. Still on probation for another year, but she'll do fine. Dan

Shelly. I just did what parents do when it came to taking the boys. I didn't even hesitate. But believe me, the paperwork was a bear to get done. Finally paid a lawyer $60.00 to do it. I thought that was a bargain!

Happy belated Birthday Amber. Sorry I didn't know. I'd have baked a cake! LOL Dan

• Good morning everyone. Coffees on here too, in case Ambers pot runs dry. Not much time today. Been cutting drive time to work kind of close lately. School buses! Have a Happy Halloween. Dan

• Gayle and Shelly. The kids had a blast. And I know that will be talked about all their lives. They had a drawing for the winner, and Dallas' name was the one called. And we even included "Ratboy's" oldest boy Mayson, and nephew Caleb join in. "Ratboy" is the grandsons dad that commited suicide! He stole 9 years of my DD's life, then took the easy way out. Can you tell I didn't like him? The only thing good he ever did was give me those two boy's! At least the grandsons get a small Social Security check every month. And $50.00 a month goes into a savings accout. The rest goes on clothes, their everyday needs, and a couple toys. Dan

• I don't know how I double posted those pictures! Dan

• Hello everyone. Long boring day at work today. I'm going to post 2 pictures taken with my DD's phone camera. One shows the top of Dallas' Mask inside the car. The other one has Dallas, Devin, and Mayson, their half-brother. He's 11. They had a blast! Hope your days have been good ones. Her phone doesn't take very goo pictures though. Have a pleasant evening. We're having a pot of chili. Dan

Here are a couple pictures of Dallas in the Pace Car last night. The second one has Devin, and their 11 year old half brother (Mayson) outside the car. Wish my daughters phone camera could have put bout better pictures. They had a blast! I told Dallas that I'm 55 yrs old, and have never taken a ride around the track. And I had friends who raced there! Dan

• While I'm still here. Dallas, and Devin, (DGS's) got to ride in the Pace car at the local speedway last night. They had a drawing and Dallas' name was pulled. He was alowwed to bring 2 other people. It was the last night of races for the year. They even let him have his 11 year old half brother ride with them. Haven't been able to talk to them yet. But a picture will be posted. Dan

• Forgot to mention, but the pain in my back has subsided enough that I can walk comfortably now. Still feels like it could go out at anytime though. Being ever so careful. Dan

• Just time to stop in and say hello. 28 here, and will need to start the treuck, and scrape windows before I leave. Help yourself to some coffee though. It's ready! Have a great day. Dan

• Hello everyone. Finally got logged back on. Had one heck of a time though! My hard drive crashed Wednesday morning, and had to take the computer to the DR. 34 degrees and sunny here, with a high of only 50 today here in Indiana. Hope your all having a great day so far. Dan

• Gayle. When I was a kid Halloween was one night! Now days they drag it out all week long. Too bad we can't go back and be kids again! Remember all the homemade stuff people used to give out? Popcorn balls, cookies, cup cakes. We even had the man who owned the neighborhood barber shop give out full bottles of Coke! Sometimes we'd go home and switch costumes and go back there! That's when a bottle of Coke tasted great. Dan

• Susan. I hadn't even seen the score till I got my newspaper yesterday morning. The Colts are truly a sad team tthis year. Glad I'm not a big fan. And it looks like Jimmie Johnson might have been put out of the chase too! Dan

Good morning to everyone coming in. Kids had a good time at the Trunk and Treat. Coffees ready, so help your selves. Dan

• Gayle. My 23 year old son looked just like Dallas when he was that age, and so did I! Gonna be a big boy! Dan

• Just so everyone knows we're still protected by two of the greatest Super Heroes to ever wear a cap and mask, here's the proof! At least we're safe in central Indiana. They can't travel too far! LOL Hope you've all had a good day. GS's are going to a Trunk & Treat at Dallas' school. Took this just before they were leaving. Dan

• Marty (selling things)> I'm sorry you had to go through that experience. I had older neighborhood friends who went. Some came home alright, some didn't. And a couple didn't make it home at all. I was just young enough to miss the draft. I signed up in April of 1975, and everything was pretty well over by then. Thank you for your service. From one Veteren to another. Dan

• Amber. Good morning. Yesterday was alright. Just hectic after work. Had some shopping to do. Cool fall day here. But it is supposed to be in the 60's later. Dan

• Gordon. That scene in Apocalypse Now is my favorite part of the movie. And one of my favorite movies of all time. I'd be terrified too if I was in one of those villages! And my wife's maiden name just happened to be Kurtz, as in Col. Kurtz! Have a great day, or night, whichever it is down there. Headed to work now. Dan
