  • Hi Potties! I have a question for anyone who knows marks, please.
    I've searched your Pottery Sites over at the right of the board, but have not come up with what I need. I don't have pics yet, but I have an ornate 8" bowl/plate with holes in the back for hanging. It is white with blue design of a windmill, a small house and trees in the center. The rim is raised in a swirl and decorative design that is also colored in blue.
    My problem is the crossed swords on the back. The handles are shaped like an 'x' and then what looks sorta like large olives at the opposite ends of the swords. There's also a CD or DC (on top of each other) and then maybe a 3 on the other side of the bottom. Not much without a pic, but thought someone might have a clue as to the maker. TIA!
