We went on a garden tour on Saturday and had cake and ice cream that evening. Everyone's peonies were in bloom and I love seeing all of the different varieties. My favorite garden was terraced and had several private seating areas that would be perfect for curling up with a book.

Sorry for the website outage this afternoon. Who knows why it went down, but my webhost said that they were experiencing widespread outages. Probably someone at the data center tripped over a cord 🙂

He just sort of fell into my dating territory when I was as freshman at Univ. of Arkansas. His cousin was housemate in Girl's 4-H House. There were only 16 of us in that house.
But For today— Just completed my putting-out-fires morning routine. One of which was Bill Me Later. I had a hefty bill there partly because I had late fees. I have never consciously used Bill Me Later. I called them ( 1-966-528-3733) to request that they disable my BML. Surprisingly, they agreed that that the dis-enabling was possible and did so.
Now on to other chores.

I was told that as of mid-January, counter personnel are NOT required to weigh or give receipts for packages that have pre-paid labels on them. They are to be scanned and weighed at the end of the business day prior to shipment. I always ask them to verify my package weight so most of my local counter people scan the shipment in, weigh it & give me a receipt anyway.
