also, brat cat dewey is doing fine. still a lot of energy for a 13-year-old cat. i really have never had a pet this long. but i can see some aging in him. his black hair is graying some & his face is narrowing some, lost the baby fat. but he’ll see outrun anything & everyone around. & although he very rarely has to do it, he can handle […] View

@lookwhatbobfound Bob, For store listings how much and how often is there a listing fee when you use good til canceled?
Happy birthday @doreen366ml . We are still eating left over Halloween candy.

@lookwhatbobfound Bob , I use Auctiva and do only 30day listings for the store. Auctiva does have a feature that reduces the price by a set percentage every time it is re listed. I did use that feature when i Had my 2010-2011 store but have not set it to do that since I opened my 2012 store. Maybe I will start doing that.

@trezchick , Gayle & @lookwhatbobfound Bob, I pretty much follow Bobs' line of thought and actions. I know that I must keep my inventory at competitive prices. Before listing any items I do a good bit research to determine a competitive price. Sometimes I even go back and redo some of that research after the offer comes in.
And since I sell only items which I have purchased for resale I do consider my cost of goods ( COG) . If I find some fault that I had not previously noted such as a missing part or tears in clothing I might send it back to the thrift shop as a donation.
I had almost rather re-donate it than contribute to the free fall of prices as has happened in the book business.

@lookwhatbobfound Bob , This increase is of particular interest to those who sell through Amazon and ship books to international addresses. The Flat Rate envelope cost is being increased from $16.95 to $19.95. Amazon’s reimbursement for this cost is already less than the actual cost. Will they or won’t they increase that reimbursement ?

@lookwhatbobfound Bob, My techie DD came by last night and was able to get on PayPal. By the time she left it had times out and I have not been able to get back on. Talked to PayPal tech who thinks I need to change my password. Tech sent an email to get that started. Supposed to have been a box for entering a 5 digit number. Wasn't there on the totally white screen. Tech thinks it is maybe something in my settings and or password problem. DD will be back tonight to try to resolve the problem. Fortunately, DD lives only few blocks from me.

Bob @lookwhatbobfound - No way - they are just resting up so they can take ALL the rest of what we thought we had. Insurance Tax, Uninsured Tax, Illegal Alien Support Fees, etc.

Bob @lookwhatbobfound - looks like you live somewhat near to where MIL lives. She lives in Leesburg & several in-laws live in Eustis. Have spent many enjoyable days down there. Almost bought home in Leesburg last Summer but changed mind after seeing park's monthly lot fee. $1K/ mo was a little steep IMHO.

    Shelly @shellyrae37 - Hi stranger ! Yes VOTE !!!! That's why I am now a certified Election Official !!

Gordon @gordon - Likewise, I apologize !!! No more political jabs or statements !!!! This Board is too good to jeopardize.

Bob @lookwhatbobfound - don't mess around with moles. Get a biopsy if they look suspicious. I wound up getting a chunk taken out my arm. They took a small slice of a mole & it turned out cancerous. They then took out the mole - inside of elbow.

@lookwhatbobfound ---Bob , I have been reading about the loss of mama mia. My condolences, too. When my DDIL lost, Herbert, one of her beloved cats my DS buried him off to the side of their quite large lot. He then took some Quick Crete and made a flat round stone to go over the grave. When they moved from that place they took the stone with them. Somehow that seemed to be very consoling for my DDIL. Just a thought. Helen or bbg

@lookwhatbobfound Bob - Just a little pic to show how much our dear President respects the "Pledge":

I wish I had the video of him raising his left hand over his chest during the Pledge. Maybe his heart "IS" in the wrong place.

    http://www.chatroomboard.com update...

@lookwhatbobfound ...spelling correction noted and fixed.

@gordon ...I'll take you up on your offer. You will of course receive full credit for any articles you post. I'll give you and anyone else who is interested their own login with full "author" privileges, so you will be posting your own articles and they will have your name on it. You can either use a pseudonym, or your actual name...whatever you want.

I still need pottery-related keywords and key phrases for the search engines, so if anyone would like to take a shot at that, please email them to me.

@lookwhatbobfound ---Didn't know there was an opt out option. I have only store ads so not concerned for myself as store owners do not get free ads. Or, has that changed? But will mention it to my DGD who does do free ads. And i"ll mention it on the GB.

@lookwhatbobfound - Another one that I have checked out is Blujay - I haven't listed there but it looks good. Webstore has a nice higher end clientele. I sold some nice Imperial pieces there. Bonanza is good cuz you can sell outside the confines of the site & not get dinged. Sold several glass manuals via email contacts through Bonanza.
